Welcome to the Otter’s Den.  Including myself, the cast of characters around here includes:

My Studmuffin – My husband, who has no idea of what he has gotten himself into

Little Otter – The yet to arrive little addition to the Otter’s Den

Carmel – Feline ruler of the Otter’s Den (or so he believes!)

My Mother – No explanation required! Since she spent 38 years actively mothering, she is a fount of wisdom, some of which I actually listen to

The Guberif – My father

Papaya – My oldest niece, pretty much like my younger sister

Jordo – Papaya’s older daughter

RyPie – Papaya’s younger daughter

#1, #2, #3, #4, #5 – My brothers, oldest to youngest

SIL#1, SIL#2, SIL#5 – My brother’s wives (the numbers correspond, get it?)

LilBro – My Studmuffin’s younger brother

Miss Kerry – One of my closest friends, who comments with her real name (so I will use it here). An experienced Mom who is very glad to find someone who will take her old baby stuff off her hands. She is, actually, a Mrs. but I think “Miss Kerry” sounds better.  Miss Kerry has 2 sons, who I will call “Brown Eyes” and “Blue Eyes” on this blog.
