Too much stuff!
I realized today that we (my Studmuffin and I) have a very long to-do list to finish before we are joined by the Little Otter. For probably no one’s benefit other than our own, here is the list I’ve come up with…so far.
1 – Choose a theme (after, of course, we know if it is a boy or a girl)
2 – Put together a registry (Miss Kerry has been so kind to offer to help with this! Honestly, I don’t know what I’d do without her!)
3 – Buy nursery furniture (my parents and I will work on this when they come up).
4 – Organize my craft room. I’d like to have this done by December 29th, so I can say I did it within the first year of living in this house.
5 – Survive this term at school. Honestly, Spanish if frying my brain.
6 – Take my standardized tests for my Master’s program. Already scheduled–I just need to study!
7 – Get a second car. Since we sold my junker (it’s now sitting in our next door neighbor’s driveway), we’ve been talking about what car we’d get. My Studmuffin was thinking of a Ford Focus, but now he’s saying maybe we should just bite the bullet and get a minivan now.
8 – Take all those childbirth/child rearing classes. Yeah, sounds like so much fun.
9 – Put up bookshelves in the bedroom. Right now, a corner of our bedroom is just a pile of books. It’s pretty sad.
10 – Get caught up in my picture backlog. This one may not be doable. I got all the family pictures from my mother and, well, my mother is not gifted with photo organizing or labeling skills. It’s a mess!
Well, there are the 10 things I’ve come up with so far. I’m sure that there are others that have been grossly overlooked. And I’m sure that you will let me know what they are!
